The Zip HydroTap® filter should be replaced every 6 to 12 months, depending on how much water you use and the quality of your source water.

This protects the internal heating and chilling components, maintains performance and guarantees the quality and taste of your drinking water.

If you live in an area of Australia that has poor source water quality, it is easy to combine an additional under-sink water filtration system like Reverse Osmosis filtration (RO).

Reverse Osmosis will remove up to 99% of impurities, chlorine, copper, lead and other chemicals from the water supply before it is filtered and dispensed by your Zip HydroTap®.

How does it work?

W2W Zip HydroTaps® use advanced technology and come in a choice of stylish designs that make them one of the most popular all-in-one hot, chilled and sparkling filtered water taps on the market.

The Zip HydroTap® filter system needs to be plumbed into the mains cold water supply under the sink and this should be done by a professional plumber or water filtration technician.

The “command centre,” which operates the filter, water heating and chilling features, needs to be connected to an electricity supply.

Zip HydroTaps® come in a choice of finishes and are drilled into the countertop or can come with a font fitted to the bench top.

All models come with a Zip HydroTap user manual.

The command centre unit and carbonating gas canister (sparkling models) under the sink need adequate ventilation to avoid overheating.

You may need to install additional air vents in small enclosed spaces.

FAQ's

Yes.

Zip HydroTaps are an energy-saving way to provide boiling water and are cheaper to run than boiling kettles.

You only use the amount of boiling water you need, unlike a kettle which we often overfill and boil again for the next cuppa.

There is no wasted water with a Zip HydroTap which constantly delivers freshly filtered safe, clean drinking water.

If you are going away for an extended period, it is a good idea to turn your Zip HydroTap off to save energy and money.

Simply turn off the water supply to the tap under the sink.

Depress the buttons on the tap 3 or 4 times to empty the tanks and then switch off the power supply.

You will need to flush the filters when you turn the tap back on and the on-screen instructions on the Command Centre will take you through each step.
