It depends on the number of customers you have and the quality of your local water supply. A mains-fed sediment and carbon filter system will remove contaminants and odours, but it may leave calcium and minerals that can affect water taste and expose your coffee machine to hard water scale buildup. Reverse Osmosis removes calcium, heavy metals and up to 99% of contaminants, chemicals and minerals to leave purified water which won’t interfere with the taste of your brew.
Most ice machine filters need replacing every 6 months. High-use venues or venues in areas with hard or poor water quality may need more frequent filter changes. We track your system and send a reminder when your filter is due.
