An under-sink filter system connects to your mains cold water supply under the sink, and we can take care of the whole process, from booking a convenient installation date to handing over a fully functional filtered water tap. 

Installation requirements depend on your existing plumbing setup and many under-sink systems can be installed using the existing fittings.

Most filter systems use a small, dedicated drinking tap on the benchtop. If you want to keep your existing mixer tap, some under sink systems, such as the Mixerflow system can be set up to feed filtered water through your current mixer tap.

Before we confirm an installation booking, we’ll ask you to send us photos of the under-sink cupboard and the benchtop where a separate tap would sit. These help us check access, existing plumbing fittings and where a tap could be fitted. 

To qualify for free standard water filter installation, we need easy access to the under-sink area, and you must have a flexi-hose, isolation valve and standard benchtops.

Stone, marble and granite worktops require specialist drilling, and we can recommend a professional stonemason to carry out this work. 

Older homes may have copper pipes which require non-standard fittings and additional labour to complete. 

Chilled and boiling filtered drinking dispensers and under sink chiller systems need a nearby power point.

What happens on installation day?

Once you’re happy to go ahead, we’ll agree a convenient time for an experienced water filtration technician to come and install your water filter system.

Before we leave, we’ll flush the system and make sure everything is working properly, leaving you to enjoy freshly filtered water on tap.

We’ll leave a service log card on the unit, so you have a record of when the first filter change is due.

If you have moved into a home with an existing filtration system, we can check what system you have and whether it needs servicing or the filters need replacing.

If you buy your filter system online through our website, we’ll contact you to finalise the installation arrangements.

How much does under sink water filter installation cost in WA?

Entry-level under-sink systems start from $500 to $600, and free standard water filter installation is included for domestic customers in Perth and many areas of regional WA.

Non-standard installs may incur additional costs. This includes copper pipe plumbing, stone benchtops, restricted access or locations outside our standard servicing and installation areas.

Servicing your filter after installation

To protect the quality of your drinking water and keep your system working efficiently, the water filter cartridges need replacing every 6 to 12 months depending on how much water you use and the quality of the water passing through the filters. 

In Karratha and across the Pilbara, higher sediment and mineral content might mean you need to replace your filters more often. 

We’ll send a reminder when your service is due, so you are not left guessing.

Our servicing and maintenance visits include replacing the water filter cartridges, sanitising and flushing the system, inspection of filter housing and fittings and providing an updated service log.
