Why replace water filters?

Over time, the tiny pores in water filter cartridges become clogged with the contaminants they collect.

This reduces the efficiency of your filtration system and can allow dirt, bacteria and unwanted chemicals to enter your water supply.

Replacing water filter cartridges regularly is essential to maintain drinking water quality and taste.

Designed for use with W2W Twin CC1 Filter Systems.

1 x W2W 1-Micron Sediment Filter (10″ x 2.5″)

If you live or work in an older property, the plumbing system may have copper or lead pipes and fittings.

Over time, these can corrode and leak into the drinking water supply.

W2W’s CC1 carbon filter removes the same contaminants as a standard carbon filter, in addition to excess heavy metals.

FAQ's

Our bodies need small amounts of some chemicals and metals to help us stay healthy.

However, drinking water with excess levels can cause headaches, nausea and diarrhoea.

Using a twin filtration system with A CC1 carbon filter can remove excess chlorine, copper and lead, as well as harmful contaminants, dirt and bacteria.

The Australian Drinking Water Guidelines recommend drinking water should have less than 2 mg/L (milligrams per litre) of copper to prevent health-related problems.

Water with less than 1mg/L of copper tastes better and will reduce potential staining.

The most obvious symptom of excess copper in your drinking water is when it leaves you with a metallic or bitter taste or discolours the water.

Although you can buy home water quality testing kits, these should not be relied on if you have health issues that may make you more vulnerable to excess copper.

The most reliable way to test for excess copper in your body is through a blood test.
